RBV Band Off Campus Saturday Practice - We Need Your Help!
Hi Band Families!
We have a unique situation for our upcoming field practices. Because our field is not yet complete, the band will be holding two Saturday practices at Vista High School on September 5 and September 19.
Since we will be practicing off campus and will not have access to our usual band facilities, the Band Boosters will be providing dinner, some water, and some shade on both practice days to help keep students comfortable and on campus throughout the day.
We could use a little additional help with:
Pop-up canopies or other shade
Coolers
Ice
Water refills (the Boosters has large water jugs but we are uncertain we will be able to refill them at Vista High)
Light, individually packaged snacks
Parents are not required to stay on campus for the duration of practice. Items may be dropped off, and shade canopies or other equipment may be set up and picked up later. If you are lending an item, please be sure to clearly mark it with your name.

Your generosity has already made a tremendous difference in how we are able to begin the school year and support our students.
In the coming days, the funds raised by each student will be applied to their student account. Parents can expect to receive additional emails from treasurer@rbvband.org in a couple of weeks regarding their student's account and the voluntary program contribution.
Families may make contributions in any amount, at any time, and a monthly payment plan may be a helpful option for many families. This suggested donation amount represents approximately 1/3 of the total funds needed to provide the band program to our students for the school year.
The City of Vista scholarship application has currently closed but is expected to reopen in October, and we will share information with families when it becomes available.
