2nd Saturday Practice at Vista High Field September 19th - Update on Parking!
Hi Band Families!
It's a busy band weekend this week! Friday we have the field at Vista High for our first "home" game. Come out and support the band. If you have not ordered your show shirt yet, or would like to pay for your Dickies jacket a small band merch booth will be set up at the Vista High field.
Saturday is our 2nd field practice day at Vista High. The Band Boosters will be providing dinner, some water, and some shade to help keep students comfortable and on campus throughout the day. Please be sure to send your kid with their water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat to help keep cool. We are outside the entire day!
Thank you to everyone who helped out with shade, snacks and water for our last field practice. It made a huge difference for the students and staff. We do still have some open spots for this week, the sign up link is above and we appreciate anything you can do.

This weekend is also the Vista Viking Festival. The festival uses VHS as a paid parking lot. Because of this and anticipated traffic, we will be busing from RBV. Parents will not be able to enter the VHS parking lot other than for emergency purposes. For any parent planning on loaning shade, coolers or providing snacks or water - please meet at the staff parking lot at RBV between 11:30 and 12 to drop those items off with the Boosters. Please also plan to pick them up Saturday night.
Dickies Jackets

DICKIES JACKET ORDERS DUE SEPTEMBER 25th
These jackets are a long standing band tradition! Instead of a typical letterman’s jacket, band students wear classic black Dickies jackets that become a personalized record of their time in the program. Students can add patches earned at the end of each school year, tournament patches, pins, and other pieces that commemorate the shows and experiences they’ve been part of.
Many students choose to order their jackets in their sophomore year, but jackets are available to students of any grade who would like one. The picture above is a sample of what a jacket could look like, but how you place your patches, or what you get embroidered - is up to you!
The Band Boosters coordinate jacket orders with Ace Uniforms a few times each year. Our current order window is open through September 25th.
Stop by the merch booth at the game on Friday to pick up an order form or pay for your jacket. Not ready to order yet? No problem! We’ll have another group order opportunity in October, and you can also order a jacket directly from Ace Uniforms on Santa Fe at any time. Order forms and payment can also be dropped in the band drop box at any time by September 25th.
