RBVHS Band and Pageantry

Henry Stoker is nationally recognized for his expertise in the marching band and drum corps worlds. He has been a music educator for nearly 20 years with experience as a Percussion caption head as well as a drill writer.

Ferdinand Gasang is the Front Ensemble arranger and instructor for Rancho Buena Vista High School. Over the past two decades, Mr. Gasang has had the privilege of teaching at various schools in California and Arizona, and with the Earthquake Drum & Bugle Corps and the Esperanza Drum & Bugle Corps. A music graduate of the University of California, San Diego and alumnus of the Velvet Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, Mr. Gasang is a dedicated performer. He has participated in such prestigious festivals as the Bang on a Can Festival in New York and The Los Angeles Philharmonic's Green Umbrella Series. Mr. Gasang studied at the studios of Dr. Patti Cudd and Dr. Steven Schick and with Catherine Float.

Ben Contreras started his Color Guard career with “Spin This” (1996) , and EsDee Productions.  He also marched with Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corp (1998-1999), Fantasia (1999-2003), and Corona (2005) Winter Guards. Additionally, Ben was also a Visual Member of the Disneyland cast of  BLAST!  Ben has been the Artistic Director for Lealta Winterguard since 2007 and an instructor for Chino, Ayala, Riverside King, and Murrieta Valley. Ben has also worked with The Academy and Colts Drum And Bugle Corps and is the current Colorguard Caption Head for Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps.  This is Bens second year on staff  here at Rancho Buena Vista High School.
